A VISIT OF STUDENTS FROM THE "CENTRO REGIONAL UNIVERSITARIO DE SAN MIGUELITO FACULTAD HUMANIDADES"

Students from the “Centro Regional Universitario de San Miguelito” Facultad Humanidades to our facilities was hosted by Mr. Aurelio Mena Industrial Safety Officer. Visitors were explained the basic safety rules, access controls, control and care of the luggage, the importance of the presence of the authorities in the facilities, the logistics of boat shipments, the process of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and ended with a tour of the facilities.

 

The 17 students were present under the supervision of the professor Vilma Chiriboga.

CELEBRATION OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF ALDEAS INFANTILES SOS

At present, there are 600 children, teenagers and young people who participate in the Aldeas Infantiles SOS programs, in four parts of the country such as Colón, Penonomé, David and the Capital City, where family environments are fostered and lasting practical support is provided so that each child and youth can develop relationships of trust and face life's challenges.

The Colon2000 group has received recognition as an “allied” company, for its contribution to the wellbeing of the children and youth of the country who currently live in Aldeas Infantiles SOS.

“ALIANZA POR EL MILLON” FIFTH DAY OF REFORESTATION

PortColon2000 was present on the fifth day of reforestation, accompanied by the members of “MiAMBIENTE” Group. This day was held in more than 18 selected locations throughout the country; trees of different species were planted with the help of private companies, institutions, business associations, civil society, and volunteers.

The Alliance For The Million Hectares is a country commitment. It is part of the National Strategy For Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change and the National Water Security Plan 2015-2050 and the National Forest Strategy 2050.
