VISIT OF STUDENTS OF THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA

We received the visit of 17 students from the National Technical University of Costa Rica, led by professor Roberto Atencio. To visitors were explained the basic safety rules, access controls, control and care of the luggage, the importance of the presence of the authorities in the facilities, the logistics of boat shipments, the process of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and ended with a tour of the facilities.
The tour was in charge of Mr. Antonio Mena Industrial Safety Officer and Mr. Gerardo Griffith Security Supervisor.

Como parte del programa de RSE del Grupo Colón 2000, tuvimos el grato placer de recibir a 24 alumnos del Instituto Nacional de Formación Profesional y Capacitación para el Desarrollo Humano - INADEH sede Colón dirigido por la profesora Itza Walles en referencia al curso "Calidad en los Servicios Logísticos y de la Hospitalidad“. La visita guiada estuvo a cargo del Oficial de Seguridad Industrial, el mismo procedió en primer lugar a explicar las distintas operaciones que atendemos, las normas de seguridad exigidas por la AMP, y finalmente mostrarles nuestras instalaciones.

FOOD COLLECTION FOR CHILDREN OF THE ALDEAS INFANTILES SOS FOUNDATION
Colón2000 group, conformed by PortColón2000 and Radisson Colón 2000 Hotel&Casino, is committed to the childhood and youth of our country.
To contribute with such a noble cause, a team of volunteers composed of a staff of the Colón 2000 Group made a food collection for the children of the prestigious Aldea Infantiles SOS Foundation.

TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR THE ATTENTION OF GUEST/ PASSANGER WITH DISABILITIES
We are proud to announce that this October 29, Radisson Colón 2000 facilitated its facilities and managed the workshop mentioned jointly with the Secretaria Nacional de Discapacidad (SENADIS) and Fundación Te Tengo en Cuenta (FTTC), with the participation of the hotel staff of San Diamond, Washington, and Melia Panama Canal, and personnel of the PortColon2000, aimed at management, administrative and collaborators in general.

A MEDICAL TOUR TO “MONGARRA TORRO VILLAGE” REGION

Colon2000 Group in partnership with Club Activo 2030 and the University of Panama, made a medical tour to the indigenous community known as “Mongarra Torro Village” located on the shores of Lake Alajuela. We reach this community of difficult access to share and provide medical services.
Colón2000 Group reaffirms its commitment to provide support and optimize integration into communities.
